Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Event: Event Duration and bonuses
A Valorous Hero event will continue from Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event will feature the following bonuses:
- 2 x Candy for catching Pokemon
- Trainers 31 levels and above will have twice the chance to obtain Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Event: Field Research and Raids
Special Field Research for the event will be available. Upon completing the events, Trainers will encounter a Ponyta with a special Candela-theme accessory. The Ponyta encountered may also be a shiny one. Event-themed Research Tasks will also be available. By completing those tasks, players will be able to earn Stardust, Revives, Hyper Potions, and an encounter with Ponyta.
The following Pokemon will arrive during the event in Pokemon Go:
- 1-star Raids: Hisuian Growlithe, Galarian Ponyta, Hoothoot
- 3-star Raids: Galarian Stunfisk, Druddigon, Hisuian Braviary, Hisuian Avalugg.
- 5-star Raid: Tapu Fini.
- Mega Raids: Mega Pinsir.
Final Thoughts
This is the first time Mega Pinsir would be available in-game. Also, the shiny variants of Mega Pinsir and Tapu Fini will be available for the first time. The best part of the event is going to be the 2x catch candy. Pokemon Candies are a very important commodity in-game.
