As the Spring 2023 season has just started, Pokémon GO brought a new event, Spring into Spring to celebrate the season. Pokémon which can be associated with the general tone of the spring season would be appearing more in wild. Also, a new Pokémon would be released during this event.
Players would be getting particular field research tasks, raids, and much more bonuses. The event is available from April 4, 2023 (10 AM Local Time) to April 10, 2023 (8 PM Local Time).
Pokémon GO Spring into Spring 2023: Event Overview
Pokémon Debut
Cutiefly and Ribombee would be making their Pokémon GO Debut during this event. Both are Bug and Fairy-type Pokémon. Cutie can be evolved in Ribombee at the cost of 25 candies. Both of the Pokémon belong to the Alolan region. Cutiefly’s best moveset in-game is going to be Struggle Bug and Dazzling Gleam. Ribombee’s best moveset is going to be Struggle Bug and Buzz Bug.

- Pikachu wearing a flower crown
- Eevee wearing a flower crown
- Togetic wearing a flower crown
- Buneary wearing a flower crown
- Chansey wearing a flower crown
- Jigglypuff
- Maril
- Bunnelby
- Whismur
Other than Maril, there is a probable chance that Trainers might encounter the shiny variant.
Field Research Tasks and Rewards
- Hatch an Egg: Pikachu / Eevee wearing a flower crown
- Hatch 2 Eggs: Togetic wearing a flower crown
- Hatch 4 Eggs: Chansey wearing a flower crown
Bonuses
- 2X Hatch Candy: Hatching Eggs would provide 2 times the Candies of the Pokemon.
- ½ Egg Distance: Eggs can be hatched by walking only 50% of the required distance.
- 1-Hour Lucky Egg: Lucky Eggs would last for 1 hour instead of 30 mins.

Final Thoughts
Trainers would be getting a chance to get some rare variants of the popular Pokémon. They would also get some important in-game boost items which would help during other important events like Community Day or Raid Days. Also, trainers would be able to earn Mega Energy for Lopunny. The tasks are quite easy, so Trainers can try to complete those and get easy rewards.
