Resident Evil Survival Unit is a survival horror strategy title from Aniplex Inc. and JOYCITY Corp. The game has been on my phone for quite some time now, and I’ve spent a good number of hours enjoying it. One thing I learned is that the game doesn’t let you gather many resources, so money management is crucial. That’s why I’ve prepared this Resident Evil Survival Unit currency guide.
If you’re starting, you can check our initial coverage of the game, such as a beginner’s guide. And you can also get some freebies by using the codes from our promo codes guide. And if you face any troubles, seek help from the direction provided in our customer support guide. And do not forget to check the tier list as well!
How to get more Gems in Resident Evil Survival Unit
Gem is the only currency in a true sense because other items, which you can use in exchange for something, or you can spend your money on, or you need badly to continue with the in-game tasks, are just resource items, about which I talked later.

However, Gem is a top-tier special currency that can be exchanged for all resources, items, and even rare goods that cannot be bought with money. There are a few ways to obtain these gems. But take note that there are two types of Gems, though the use is the same. I mean, both are the same currency, but the game differentiates them into free and paid currencies.
Now, how to obtain these gems? Well, you can get them in the following ways:
- The abundant supply of gems comes from the Supply Center, which is basically the in-game shop. You can head to the centre and see several tabs in which paid packs are mentioned, and you can just buy these packs along with the gems. You will get some extra resources as well.
- Secondly, you can only buy gems from the Gem Shop in the Supply Center. There are several exchangeable packs, and you can get one or more as you need.
- Daily Login bonuses are a great way to earn some free gems. And if you have any paid gems, do not worry because the game lets you spend the free gems at first and then asks you whether you want to use the paid gems or not.
- Achievements are another milestone that you can use to get some gems as well. After unlocking each stage and completing the previous one, the game rewards you with gems.
- The game runs several events throughout the weeks or even months, and you can grab gems from these events as well.
So, you can see that there are a lot of ways you can earn gems. However, you still may need more as the game uses a hard grind after a few chapters.
Where to spend your Gems in Resident Evil Survival Unit
The best place to use these Gems will be to unlock the Construction Queue. The game doesn’t let you run two upgrades at a time side by side. But the only way to progress faster and level up is by upgrading the establishments. So, if you’re up to achieving something in this title, do make sure that you unlock the construction queue for whatever period they’re available by using your gems.

You can use the gems in the Merchant Shop as well. You can find a wide range of items here, starting from Action points to Special Flare guns. However, these items are costly and free gems can’t cope up longer.
