Overview of the hero class and role system in Resident Evil Survival Unit
The game has only 17 heroes; you will not have many options. However, they are diversified in many ways, including their style, role, and abilities. The primary roles are:
- Attacker: They dominate the battles, whether it is against other players from the worldwide server or against the zombies running after your den. The game has six attackers.
- Defender: They will defend your base against the horde of enemies, and also in times of fights against other players. The defenders are basically the shield for your team.
- Ranger: Lead the ranger squad into battle. Increases the stats of ranger troops in the deployed squad.
Besides, the Heroes have a secondary type of role. They are:
- Joining Rally
- Gather
- Development
- Defense
Legendary characters have one extra ability or role, which is: Combat Specialist. It grants a skill that increases the stats of All Deployed Squads.
Best team builds for Resident Evil Survival Unit
So, you can always work on the teams based on your playstyle. You may want to change the plans of your plans after some characters are unlocked. Apart from the legendary heroes, you may get different regular heroes.
Beginner Squad
For a starter package, you should go for a balanced and moderate team to win early matches easily and unlock all the necessary elements, equipment, and establishments. So, I recommend taking the following Squad:
- Jill Valentine
- Carlos Oliveira
- Claire Redfield
So, this squad will be a balance of class, expertise, level, and all. You can be able to overcome the primary missions in the initial stage. But to push harder and climb up the levels fast, there should be some upgrades. However, that thing will happen later.
Attack-only Squad
For a heavy attacking squad, I recommend one defender to put in front (though the enemy comes from everywhere), and then the support and attack roles will be played by the attack heroes like Ada Wong and Claire Redfield. So the squad should be like this:
- Ada Wong
- Claire Redfield
- Leon S. Kennedy
This squad will deal some damage to the enemies and also get quite a defense. But to become aggressive, you need to work on the hero abilities because without the expertise and level-up, this won’t help much in any squad.
Defense Squad
The defense should be on both sides, and yes, you will take an attacker. Leon S. Kennedy is a perfect multirole player, and you can choose him for this type of gameplay. The squad might look like this:
- Leon S. Kennedy
- Carlos Oliveira
- Ada Wong
This squad will get you through the enemy waves.
Resident Evil Survival Unit Team Composition Tips
- Upgrade the abilities of your role-based players or heroes from the barracks. It will grant them more power and strengthen the ability of your squad.
- The Shooting Range is another place where you can increase the skills of your hero by training them. Use the section often if you can because it doesn’t matter the name of a hero, rather the skills when it comes to life and death situations.
- After your troops get wounded in a battle to save your place, repay them for their debts by healing them in the Hospital. They will come back stronger.
- Always remember that no squad is perfect unless you make yourself one. So, keep pushing the upgrades anytime you can so that the heroes are on a continuous level-up.
