The game already mentions, the greater the distance, the bigger the profit, but it never mentions who will pay you more for your travel. Let me give the secret sauce: it’s always the unruly tycoon passengers who give you the most profit. The secret to maximizing profit from them is a high comfort rating.

Articles and Ads are a late-game item (level 35) that will always give you the best quality passengers you can get, so never miss the chance to post the higher numbered article and never worry about them getting depleted; you will always get one from dailies. Prioritize places with trade centers and government buildings to get tycoons when doing ads.

4. Maximise the Deterrence level to AFK farming

Yes, AFK runs are possible, but you have to enable them in the settings when you select a destination and have a Deterrence level above 100 and a good ramming weapon with turrets set, armor, and drones set by clicking on the Auto Train button and turning everything on.

To level up your Deterrence level, complete all the CDCA eviction quests on the station locations with difficulty set to normal (20 Sanity only) to use low sanity and gain deterrence faster and more effectively, complete quests to gain a ton of rewards and materials.
