THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK Fighters Tier List: Best Fighters Ranked
I have prepared this list by categorizing the Fighters into 8 roles: Frenzy, Spike, Fury, Rush, Solid, Corrosion, Endurance, and Deathblow. To make it simple, I have further divided them into four major tiers: Overpowered (SSS), Strong (S), Good (A), Average (B), and Poor (P).

Best Fighters in THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK
Best Frenzy Fighter – Orochi Leona
Orochi Leona is one of the strongest characters in-game, which you can unlock via events. With her Baltic Launcher normal skill, she deals DMG equal to a % of her ATK to multiple enemies, while her V Slasher active skill hits even harder, dealing increased DMG over two turns.
When she activates Rebel Strike finisher skill, she delivers massive single-target DMG and gains the Bloody Rampage buff for two turns, boosting her CRIT for two turns. The best part about her, unlike other fighters, is that she has Owned Effect, which grants all allies a 100% ATK bonus.
Best Spike Fighter – Shermie
Shermie is the best Spike fighter, dominating with her single-target skills. Her Shermie Stand normal skill strikes a single target for a % of her ATK, while Shermie Spiral deals even greater DMG and grants a CRIT DMG buff to allies in adjacent rows for 2 turns. Lastly, with her Shermie Exposition finisher, she unleashes a very powerful blow on one target.
Best Fury Fighter – Mai Shiranui
For me, Mai Shiranui stands out as the best Fury Fighter. Her Hishou Ryueenjin normal skill delivers heavy DMG to a single target, while Suichou no Mai does it better and grants her Shiranui Flames buff for 2 turns. Though her Chou Hissatsu Shioni Bachi finisher deals slightly less DMG, it targets all enemies, so it’s worth it.
Best Corrosion Fighter – Benimaru Nikaido
Benimaru Nikaido is a solid pick as Corrosion Fighter, especially with his Raijenkin normal skill that deals DMG comparable to Mai’s to a single target. While Handou Sandan Geri deals more in 2 turns. The Benimaru Rolling Thunder finisher deals very low DMG to all enemies but inflicts a Shock debuff for 2 turns, causing them to take DMG equal to a % of ATK every turn.
Best Rush Fighter – Shun’ei
Shun’ei is the strongest Rush Fighter with one of the highest DMG-dealing finishers in-game. His Rising Efreet normal skill unleashes massive DMG to a single target, and the same goes for his Aqua Spear active skill. His Gaianic Burst finisher stands out as the most powerful single-target skill among all the fighters I mentioned so far.
Best Deathblow Fighter – KUSANAGI
KUSANAGI tops the chart as a Deathblow Fighter. His 76 Shiki: Kai normal skill deals heavy DMG to a single target, while Ura 108 Shiki: Orochinagi hits all enemies in the same row for slightly less DMG and has a chance to inflict Stun debuff for one turn. Lastly, his 1999 Shiki: Kiri Homura finisher deals massive DMG on one enemy, though not on par with Shun’ei.
Best Solid Fighter – Blue Mary
Coming to Solid Fighters, Blue Mary does the job. Like others, her Hammer Arch normal skill deals solid DMG to a single target, while M. Snatcher hits harder and grants an ATK UP buff to allies in the same row, including herself, for 2 turns. Her M. Typhoon finisher does similar DMG as KUSANAGI’s finisher.
Best Endurance Fighter – King
Last on the list we’ve King, who shines the most among Endurance Fighters. Her Tornado Kick normal skill targets a single enemy, while Trap Shot deals more DMG and grants a CRIT DMG UP buff to allies and herself in the same row for 2 turns. And her Surprise Roses finisher hits a single enemy with slightly more DMG than the above two fighters.
