Tower Dominion GO is a tower defense title from Nvizzio Creations, Inc., that puts a new spin on the genre with roguelike elements with terrain manipulation. In this Tower Dominion GO Beginners Guide and Tips, I will provide some tips and tricks to help you get started and improve your gameplay experience.
Tower Dominion GO Overview
Let’s start with the gameplay overview to help you get a clear idea of how it works. So, you begin with a quick tutorial from Commissar Anysia, where you need to defend your Headquarters by placing defenses along the way to stop the Artronids waves emerging from every entry points along your path.
Here, you can use the blueprints to build towers. And by dragging the Towers to the ideal spots, you can use height to increase their range. As you progress through waves, you can pick from various Doctrines and Blueprints as Reinforcement to enhance your defense.

As we progress, our goal is to extent our path to HQ every two Waves while taking advantage of the terrain. Oh, and we can also upgrade each building to boost power and adapt to any situation, though you can also pick them once per level of upgrade. This reminds of MLBB’s Magic Chess TD mode.
The game also has a Threat Report, and you can use to uncover weaknesses of the upcoming threats and also learn at which wave they arrive. And, if there are too many entry points in the terrain, you can also reroll the zone to secure the path. The 30 unique heroes over 3 factions are fun to experiment with.

Tower Dominion GO Beginners Guide: Tips and Tricks
1. Always use terrain and height to your advantage
Remember to always use the terrain and height to your advantage when you’re placing the blueprints. By placing the Towers and Durendal on elevated spots increases your defenses attack range, helping you cover more area with fewer defenses. This is especially important once the waves get more challenging.
2. Try to extend your path tactically

Considering, one of your main goal is to extend your path every two waves, you shouldn’t just thoughtlessly do it. Instead, try to create longer enemy routes, choke points, or paths that just delays their movements. A longer path means they’ll require more time to reach your base and will be continuously under fire.
3. Make proper use of the Threat Report
While it may not look like it but the Threat Report is a really underrated tool that gives you a solid upper hand. I mean, you can literally check what type of enemies are coming next and in which wave they’ll appear, letting you prepare in advance. This way you can easily counterattack and defend.
4. Choose reinforcements that helps your current situation

It’s great that you can select reinforcements after each wave, so don’t let it go to waste. You should pick Doctrines and Blueprints that actually help you overcome your current situation or give you a proper advantage. For instance, I always pick Durendal Position and Warwolf Position as they’re great for defense.
5. Don’t forget to upgrade your buildings
I’m sure most will forget, so I’m reminding you once again that don’t forget to upgrade your buildings. That said, make sure to plan ahead as these upgrades are limited per buildings. You can upgrade the Corner Strongpoints of your Main HQ, or Special Reinforcement for your Mirador towers.
Final Thoughts
Honestly speaking, Tower Dominion GO is a fun roguelike TD title, where you get to build towers, expand and reshape tiles, and do your best to defeat the enemy waves. I mean, it’s cool that we can create choke points to push enemies into heavy fire or even lure them into traps.
However, the game quickly gets challenging, as more dangerous threats start appearing in different biomes. Which is why I suggest you follow this beginners guide to have a pleasant experience. And I know it’s kind of a bummer that the whole game is not free to play.
