Best Matrices Build for Cobalt-B in Tower of Fantasy

Support / SUB DPS Build

Cobalt-B is a powerful Sub-DPS character that is almost exclusively used for her debuffing capabilities and AOE damage. Her weapon’s skill Barrage is very useful when dealing with multiple enemies, and because of its great attack range, it is quite flexible to use. In the early game, she will act as the Main DPS. Therefore, players should keep that in mind. In this section of the guide, we will break down the best matrices built for Cobalt-B in Tower of Fantasy.

Later in the game, Cobalt-B will be mainly acting as a quick-swap DPS. She has a lot of options when it comes to matrices, and the listed Matrix Sets will serve her quite well.

Cobalt-B Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: Increase damage against debuffed targets by 14%/16%/18%/20%.
  • 4-piece Set: Restore 1 dodge attempt every 3 dodges. Dodge skills inflict burn upon hit, dealing damage equal to 24%/30%/36%/42% of ATK every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds.

Samir Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: Increase damage progressively by 1% upon hitting a target. Stack up to 10/13/16/20 times. Lasts 1.5 seconds.
  • 4-piece Set: Increase Dual EM Stars’ electrical explosion damage by 16%/22%/30%/40% of ATK.

Crow Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece Set: Increase crit damage to targets with less than 60% HP by 24%/30%/36%/42%.
  • 4-piece Set: Crits deal additional damage over time equal to 18%/22%/26%/30% of ATK every second for 5 seconds. Does not stack.

Hybrid Matrices Sets

Aside from the 4pc Matrix sets, you can also try for hybrid sets of 2pc, since SSR matrices are not that easy to obtain currently and most players won’t have specific ones. You can pair a number of matrices together to form double 2pc effects, like 2pc Samir + 2pc Cobalt-B for increasing consistent damage on the enemies when Cobalt-B is played as the on-field DPS or 2pc Samir + 2pc Crow for increasing the general damage.

Best Team Comps for Cobalt-B in Tower of Fantasy

Flame DPS Teams

According to the current flame meta, Cobalt-B and King are the only Flame DPS characters. Since Cobalt-B has the Flame resonance which requires another Flame character for activation, it makes sense to pair both of them together. Additionally, players can either use the third slot for a healer or a damage buffer.

The usual team pairings that can evolve around Cobalt-B are:

  • King + Cobalt-B + Zero
  • King + Cobalt-B + Nemesis
  • King + Cobalt-B + Huma

Depending on the type of content, the third role can even be switched between another DPS and utility support.

Claudia and Cobalt-B Team

Due to their fast-paced attacks and shield-breaking capabilities, one can pair them both with one more character that will act as the flex support. This team will be much more useful in PvP rather than PvE due to the high-damage, high-risk play style.

That’s all for the best team comps for Cobalt-B in Tower of Fantasy!
