War Inc: Rising Overview
Let’s start with the gameplay overview to help you get a clear idea of how it works. You play as a Commander, going through a tutorial in the beginning. You can build a lineup and then battle out against enemy troops across various levels, while also clearing the tasks like defeating 100% of enemies.
As you progress, you unlock more troops like Swordsman, and then use the new lineup. It cost you 3 energy to battle out, and the gameplay is pretty straightforward. You also earn Chests of different rarities that you can further tap to upgrade to get troops like Forest Scout, Oracle, Coins, and more.
You can also merge your troops to obtain more power and have an upper hand. As you level up, which unlocks the ability to summon Troops. While the campaign may feel simple, the co-op battles are very fun as you need to jointly defend the base against endless monster waves with other players.
Plus, there are more game modes and challenges to keep yourself busy, and you can also take your time to build your base with important facilities, defense, and traps.

Game Modes
Here, you’ll find a variety of game modes like Growth Adventure, a PvE mode and Team Co-op, a live duo Tower Defense Mode, in addition to Season Challenges like Arena, Hunting, and Infinite War. You can also take part in Clan Hunt and Clan War in Guild Warfare section, or just try Casual ones like Battle Drills and Daily Guess.
In Arena, you can battle players worldwide to earn Arena Trophies and climb the leaderboard. There are two leaderboards: Group and Global, and you also earn rewards like Chest and Gems by climbing higher.
Build
The Build section is like Clash of Clans, where you can upgrade the main Command Center to unlock more buildings, increase building level caps, and warehouse capacity. It also produces Gems. Similarly, you can upgrade the Gold Mine, Metal Extractor, Sawmill, and Spell Cauldron to unlock new spells and produce Coins, White Iron, and Wood.
You can also set up Turrets and traps like Landmine to defend your base. Also, try to upgrade your Follower Camp to unlock new followers like Poopy and also raise level caps.
Progress Rewards
So, by playing in Adventure and Co-op mode, you can earn points which than unlocks a variety of Progress Rewards like Gems, Summon, Chests, Coins, and more.
Battle Pass
Like most games now, this one also has a Battle Pass, divided into Free and Premium one. Here, you can complete the Quests from the Quests section to earn Battle Tokens, thanks to which you can then earn various rewards like Avatar Border, Energy Boost, Infinite Chests, and more until tier 40.
Summon and Troop Recruitment
In Summon section, you can try your luck to summon in the Limited Summon and Permanent Summon to obtain Mythical and Legendary Troops like Geomancer, Storm Maiden, and more. You can either do 1x or 5x Summon, and I suggest you to try the Limited one, as the summon chances are increases for the Mythical troops.
Similarly, in the Troop Recruitment section, you can recruit troops from Common, Rare, and Epic rarities like Flame Mage, Oracle, and more. Plus, by recruiting Troops, you can obtain the clover to open Lucky Time and choose from Powerful Troops. You’ll need 200 Clovers to open it.
Shop
The in-game Shop is divided into three segments: Offers, Value Chests, and Resources. From Offers, you can get Skin Packs, Troop Packs, Basic and Advanced Supply, and more. Value Chests are useful, as you can watch an Ad to open a free Epic Chest daily, or save Gems to open up Legendary or Mythical Chests. And, you can buy Resources with real money or Gems.

1. Focus on building and upgrading your troops lineup
As you start, you need to keep unlocking basic troops like Swordsman and than gradually unlock even better troops from Troop Recruitment and Summon. Once you get a lot of duplicates, make sure to merge and upgrade them for more power. And try to have a balanced lineup instead of relying on few powerful ones.
2. Manage energy to grind in different modes
Considering each level in Adventure cost you 3 Energy and 6 for Co-op Mode, I suggest you to smartly play it out. The Co-op mode offers better rewards, so I suggest you play that more if you want to progress faster. This way you won’t waste energy on all modes but selectively play the important ones.
3. Don’t miss out on Arena and other modes
While Co-op and Adventure modes are both important and fun to play, you should also try other modes like Arena. Here, you can battle other players worldwide and earn various rewards like trophies, chests, and Gems. Try to climb both Group and Global leaderboard, and also try other modes like Hunting and Infinite War.
4. Use Summons and recruitments smartly
If you want to follow a free-to-play route, you need to be smart while summoning and recruiting troops. Moreover, if you want to level up your heroes further after reaching Lv6, you need Forge Stones, which you can get for free by summoning 20 times.
5. Take advantage of Ads
You should take proper advantage of Ads, as by watching them you can daily obtain an Epic Chest, which may even upgrade to a Legendary one in the in-game Shop. While we’re at it, also collect free 2000 Coins daily from the Resource section.
6. Give more time to Build Section
The Build section is equally important in this game, as from there you can earn Gems, Woods, Coins, White Iron, and even various Spells like Healing Spells. Try to research new Spells in the Spell Cauldron, which you can then use in battles.

War Inc: Rising may look pretty straightforward at first, but it quickly gets interesting once you level up and unlock different game modes. You get this satisfaction when you unlock new troops, especially the Mythical ones, and while merging them level up.
