Abyss Hunters arrives on Android with old-school vibes and auto roguelite combat

Take down the towering Abyss Bosses!

Story Highlights
  • Abyss Hunters is a cozy, 2D pixel art idle RPG that brings back the classic old school vibe.
  • The game offers a captivating story with heroes, monsters, loot, raids, abyss bosses, auto battles, resource management, and more.

F5 Games, known for Runes of Legend, Awakenloop, and more, has announced the launch of its pixel-art idle adventure RPG, Abyss Hunters, now available on Android. Meanwhile, iOS users can pre-register for it, with the App Store listing showcasing a release window of February 9, 2026.

Jump into a pixelated world and battle the ultimate Boss with your squad of adorable heroes

F5 Games returns with another idle RPG called Abyss Hunters, a charming 2D pixel art experience that brings back the feel of old-school titles. So, you step in as the Chosen one, alongside a mysterious, blindfolded girl. Together, you set out on an adventure to take on the ultimate Boss.

From there, you explore a beautifully crafted world filled with heroes like Warrior, Mage, Archer, and more, from which you can build your ideal team. Then, there’s the auto-combat system, like most of these titles, though the randomly generated Abyssal events sound fun, but you’ll need to equip gears.

Enjoy a relaxing resource management loop besides the auto battles

Honestly, the game doesn’t reinvent anything, or in simple words, a super intriguing feature is missing, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be any fun. And the resource management loop looks engaging at least, as it blends farming, cooking, and even town building altogether.

What I liked is how it leans into cozy activities, as you can share with friends, including fishing and tackling dungeons as a group. The camp town acts as a good break from the auto battles, and to end it, I suggest you try it out, as the offline progression, nostalgic 16-bit art, no PvP pressure, and more.

Play

Abyss Hunters is now available on Android, and you can download the game via the Google Play Store. That said, iOS users can now pre-register for the game via the App Store. We can expect the game to release on iOS on February 9, 2026.
