Farlight Games has announced the first major collaboration for their fantasy RPG, AFK Journey, launching the Fairy Tail Crossover Event on May 1, 2025. This limited-time crossover event is bringing Natsu and Lucy from the beloved Fairy Tail series to the game, along with other rewards and more.
Fairy Tail crossover paves the way for more exciting collabs in AFK Journey
AFK Journey, the multi-award-winning fantasy RPG and sequel to the popular AFK Arena, is set to launch its first limited-time crossover event with the popular Fairy Tail manga and anime series on May 1, 2025.
If you are unfamiliar with Fairy Tail, which shouldn’t be the case, it’s a manga series by Hiro Mashima that gained considerable popularity, winning various awards and making spin-offs, and more. However, it never reached a similar legendary status as the Big Three or other classic shonen manga and anime.
Fairy Tail primarily follows the adventures of Natsu Dragneel and his companions, including Lucy Heartfilia, Happy, Erza Scarlet, and others, as he journeys across the world of Earth-land in search of Igneel. The good news is that this crossover will bring Natsu and Lucy as powerful dimensional faction heroes.
Use Natsu and Lucy’s signature abilities and combat styles in your in-game battles
You can play as them and use their signature abilities and combat styles in AFK Journey’s magical world of Esperia. While this is a limited-time crossover, I am excited to try out Natsu’s Fire Dragon’s Roar move in battle. I am hoping this move will be available, with his ability to consume and manipulate fire.
As of now, there is not much information revealed on the event’s rewards and additional content. Stay tuned in this space for more updates regarding this crossover event. With this collaboration, we can also hope to see more exciting collaborations and crossovers in the future.
