AFK Journey: Homestead soft launches on Android as a cozy spin off, inviting you to rebuild a peaceful life in Esperia

FARLIGHT has announced the soft launch of their spin-off simulation title, AFK Journey: Homestead, now available on Android in Canada, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia and the UK. This is a spin-off the hit RPG, AFK Journey, though details about an iOS or global launch is yet to be revealed.

So, AFK Journey: Homestead is a adorable sim set in the magical land of Esperia, once beautiful, but now engulfed by dark miasma and vile Hypofiends. That’s where you step in as great Magister Merlin, cultivating fields, cooking tasty meals, and rebuilding your dream homestead in the vast territory.

For those unaware, Homestead is a very popular mode in AFK Journey. And I believe the devs are taking Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s route, by turning it into a standalone version of it, like what happened with Magic Chess: Go Go. Anyways, with the soft launch, you can now enjoy this cozy title.

So, as you explore forests and mountain in this vertical world, you unlock new buildings, decorations, and also fun lore. While everything looks super adorable, I’m more interested in the interactive experiences, like petting stray cats, ice-skating, snowball fights, or simply enjoying the beautiful landscape.

I like how we can also assign skilled heroes to boost productivity. And, farming, constructing functional buildings, and decorating the homestead also matter, especially if you plan on inviting your friends over. And it’s pretty impressive that we’ll get to meet nearly a hundred heroes from seven factions here.

Overall, the game looks very enjoyable given its cozy vibes and generous content, like the illustration-style world, stunning scenery, functional structures, and more. I hope the global release is around the corner, because I can’t wait to solve puzzles, encounter random events, and build an adorable homesteads together with friends.
