The Game Awards 2025 came to a grand conclusion last night as the event honoured some of the best video games of the year. While we saw history created by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by winning in a record of 9 categories, our attention goes to those mobile gaming announcements.

1. Aniimo showcases new Trailer and Closed Beta Details
The upcoming creature-catching ARPG, Aniimo from Kingsglory and FunPlus, made an appearance at The Game Awards 2025 with a new trailer focused on its second closed beta.
The video introduced new Aniimo, highlighted the Twining mechanic, where you can transform into Aniimo and use their abilities creatively, as well as the Homeland system, where one can build and upgrade their own base with help from their Aniimo.
2. Arknights: Endfield announces Global Launch date
Arknights: Endfield revealed its worldwide release date, January 22, 2026, for PS5, PC, and Mobile. The announcement came with a brand-new trailer featuring an original OneRepublic track titled Give Me Something, made exclusively for the event.
3. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin unveils new trailer
Netmarble showcased a fresh trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, revealing more of its Unreal Engine 5-powered world. The video featured iconic characters like Meliodas and Tristan flying across Britannia on mounts, showing the scale of the open world.
It also spotlighted real-time co-op raid battles that require teamwork to defeat powerful bosses. The game is set for a worldwide launch on January 28, 2026.
4. Zenless Zone Zero drops a new Trailer
HoYoverse arrived at the TGA stage with a stylish new trailer for Zenless Zone Zero. The video highlighted two upcoming Agents in Ye Shunguang and Zhao, while giving a glimpse of the mysterious Angels of Delusion faction.
5. Where Winds Meet launches on Mobile
Where Winds Meet finally made its mobile debut, available on both iOS and Android during the event. The mobile version supports full cross-play and cross-progression, letting you move seamlessly between devices.
Alongside the launch, we saw the Imperial Palace Trailer revealed. More details include a new region called Roaring Sands opened in Kaifeng, adding fresh story content, new bosses, and new challenges. Make sure to grab some freebies before you play the game, yeah?
6. Rust Mobile unveils new trailer
As the action survival title Rust Mobile kicks off its first closed beta test, it also had a showcase at the TGA 2025. Its Beyond Frontiers trailer showed some pretty amazing action in different environments, at the sea, forest, mountains, and snow, to name a few.
7. The Duet Night Abyss showcase
We also had a new showcase in Duet Night Abyss, which revealed the Huaxu Version Trailer. It delved into detail on the gameplay and visual upgrades introduced in the ‘Huaxu’ update. This new expansion shifts from a Western fantasy style to a more realistic Eastern look.
The visuals have been upgraded with better lighting, sharper textures, and more detailed environments. It all comes together to make the world feel more immersive. A Steam launch is also set for December 23, 2025.
8. Wuthering Waves reveals new promotion trailer
Wuthering Waves appeared at The Game Awards 2025 with a lighthearted promotional video themed around “Back to School”. Bringing in a nice otherworldly experience with the setting and visuals, the version 3.0 update was also confirmed to arrive this 25th December.
9. Mobile Games Win Big: Umamusume: Pretty Derby and Wuthering Waves
The event also saw the crowning of two mobile games. While Cygames‘ 3D sports life-sim Umamusume: Pretty Derby has clinched the Best Mobile Game award, Wuthering Waves, which was also in the race for the same category, ultimately won the Player’s Voice 2025 award.
