Kingsglory, a subsidiary of FunPlus, has announced a second beta test for creature-catching ARPG, Aniimo, set for early 2026 on iOS and PC. First revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase, it held an iOS technical test in November 2025 in the US, and CBT sign-ups are now live.
Aniimo 2nd CBT will kick off on January 23, 2026. However, the end date is yet to be announced.
Try out new content like Aniimo, features, game modes, and more
As Aniimo is nearing its 2026 launch, it has brought another CBT for us, and this time with newer content. But before that, let me give context to the new ones. So, Aniimo is an open-world creature-catching RPG, where you’ll get to explore the world of Idyll and collect and merge with these creatures.
Now, I want access to this CBT after watching the latest trailer at The Game Awards on Thursday. I mean, it revealed new Aniimo like Fentuft, Momand, and also Cubbo, who is the boss Aniimo for this new area of Idyll’s expansive map, and we’ll get to transform into them with the Twining mechanic.
With the Homeland feature, you can build and upgrade your home base using Aniimo’s abilities, gather resources in RVs at a campsite, and this Homeland is like a mix of an amusement park for the Aniimo and farming activities. Oh, there’s this Egg Heist competition game mode that looks super fun.
How to sign up for Aniimo second closed beta test
The good news is that Aniimo is now gearing up for its second CBT, set for next year on iOS and PC. This limited-time data-wipe test will allow you to play on iOS and PC and switch between them if you get iOS TestFlight access, unlike PC access. And make sure to uninstall the previous test version.
Here’s how you can apply for the Aniimo closed beta test:
- First, visit the game’s official website.
- Now, tap on Join Closed Beta.
- You’ll be redirected to the invitation survey.
- Here, give your consent.
- After that, provide proper details, like your email address, iPhone model, region, and more.
- You can also add your Discord ID.
- Press Submit, and you’re done.
If you’re selected, you’ll most likely be notified via the email address you gave. And, you’ll also receive the download links in the same manner. I’ve applied for the test, and I hope I get it as I love the game’s aesthetics and adorable characters, but we’ll have to wait until January 23, 2026 for the test to start!
