Apex Legends Mobile soft-launch is set to take place on the 17th of May, 2021. Additionally, it has been revealed that the global release date of Apex Legends Mobile will be May 31 in the year 2022. The soft launch will provide players with an added bonus of in-game currency, battle pass skins, and much more. However, the player’s main account will be available when the game does launch.
Apex Legends Mobile: Changes to expect in soft launch
Account progress and unlocked items earned during the Soft Launch will reset, before game release. Players will receive the equivalent amount of in-game currency in their accounts when the game does launch worldwide.
To show an appreciation to soft-launch testers, they will give players 25% extra compared to the in-game currency. Players will also be able to carry the Legend skin that they earned at the Battle Pass’s end from soft launch to launch.
Prices on products may fluctuate between soft launches. However, players’ purchasing power will remain constant. For in-game currency, players will have access to their Legend skins, including the 25% bonus, when the game launches.
The game will have the same six legends as in console
Apex Legends Mobile will feature the same six Legends, as its console counterpart. These include the likes of Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, and Bangalore, from the very beginning. Other legends can be bought or unlocked, using in-game currency.
Apex Legends’ stealth launch happened in February 2019. It has seen more than 100,000,000 unique players around the world. 25 million were earned during its first week. Tencent is involved in the development, according to an IGN India report. Tencent already has experience in the field, having ported Call of Duty onto handheld devices.
Apex Legends Mobile will also have its own set of Battle Passes. These include collectible cosmetics, as well as unlockable items. These items are exclusive to the mobile version. Players can play both the standard battle-royale and Arena modes, as well as Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends Mobile. Apex Mobile also has an improved firing range with difficulty settings and a free-for-all option, as well as unlimited ammo.
