Like every year, Apple unveiled its winners for the year 2024 of the Apple Design Awards. This is an event meant to honour outstanding apps and game and features development teams from around the world, focusing on excellence in design, technology, and innovative approaches.
Apple Design Awards 2024 winners: Lies of P clinches Visuals award, Warzone Mobile emerge finalist
Compared to the previous year’s Apple Design Awards, we have one additional category added, making it a total of 7 categories and 14 award winners. So, seven different categories recognize one app and one game each for delight and fun, inclusivity, innovation, interaction, social impact, visuals and graphics, and a new spatial computing category. Winners were chosen from 42 finalists.

Let’s talk about some of the bigger names here. Lies of P didn’t get a mobile launch but was surely a hot pick to choose from. If we pick mobile, the rest of the titles have mobile releases. The notable names include the winner of the Innovation category, which was clinched home by the point-and-click puzzle adventure title Lost in Play and the visual novel The Wreck winning the Social Impact category,
The nominees or the finalists also saw some notable names. The biggest was surely the battle royale from Activision, COD Warzone Mobile, which was in the innovation category. Little Nightmares and DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT were also other popular names that came up short of Rytmos‘ and Lies of P’s brilliance in their respective categories.
The winners of the awards will be recognized at the upcoming WWDC24 scheduled on the 10th of June, 2024.
