ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, the revamped edition of the blockbuster dino-adventure title ARK: Survival Evolved is all set to have a launch on mobile. The game will arrive for both Android and iOS platforms later this 2024 in the holiday season, the makers have confirmed.
You might be familiar with ARK: Survival Evolved from Studio Wildcard, which is one of the best action-adventure games available on mobile. This edition is developed by Grove Street Games, who has also delivered the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on mobile.
Experience survival like never before with ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition
For the premise, you begin your adventure in the game stranded on a mysterious island with nothing but the bare essentials. Your task is to hunt for food, gather resources, craft tools, grow crops, and build shelters to survive. You can ride a variety of dinosaurs and ancient creatures that roam the island, but before that don’t forget to tame them!
The game offers a range of environments to explore, from lush jungle islands to high-tech starship chambers. You can conquer these worlds either on their own or with others in online multiplayer mode, you have multiple options to choose from on how you want your adventure.
As confirmed by the makers, the ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition will include the entire original PC game and all its major expansions: Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Parts 1 & 2, as well as the popular Ragnarok map and more, offering all these by the end of 2025. Since there is plenty on offer, this will surely come with a purchase price, which hasn’t been revealed yet.
Thomas Williamson, CEO, Grove Street Games mentions, “The game utilizes huge UE4 engine improvements, delivering an expansive adventure that fits in the palm of your hand. Putting the entire collection of ARK maps into one on-the-go game has been a huge request and we’re working to deliver an amazing experience.”
The current mention is that ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition will be released this Holiday 2024 for mobile, but this might be at the end of the year. I’m speculating this to be around Christmas or New Year, so until then there isn’t any idea regarding how this will go through. For announcements, keep an eye on their website.
