The game’s environment is set on a fallen planet overrun by alien bugs, where everything has already collapsed. You step in as part of the Astro Defenders, legendary heroes tasked with survival against endless enemy waves. Reminded me of those good old arcade experiences.
Each stage throws multiple waves of enemies at you, starting with a random hero and limited resources. Between waves, you can reposition units, summon new heroes, and build a lineup that actually makes sense for what is coming next.
You are encouraged to switch heroes, adjust tactics, and adapt to changing terrain rather than stick to one fixed strategy. There is also a competitive side, where you can take part in royal survival challenges and clash against rival kingdoms.
Just like I mentioned in the title, the game is completely free and promises no ads. Well, there aren’t any extra levels you can unlock after paying an amount, either. That’s pretty interesting and, honestly, a surprise as well.
