Reportedly, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has got approval from the Indian Government following the game’s 3-month trial period coming to a conclusion this September. This news is undoubtedly exciting for players and enthusiasts, and it sets the stage for intriguing future developments.
BGMI got relaunched with a three month trail condition
It was no secret that KRAFTON had been putting a lot of effort into unbanning BGMI in India ever since the ban was imposed and the game’s removal from Google Play and App Store. It had even announced that it is trying to unban the popular Battle Royale recently which finally came to fruition when it was officially announced that the game was arriving back once again on May 29th.

However, the path to the game’s return was not straightforward. It was released under certain conditions, requiring the completion of a three-month trial period. This trial period was supposed to be concluded around the end of August and on the 1st of September, leaving some uncertainty about what would come next.
Fortunately, there’s good news to report as BGMI has reportedly obtained approval from the Indian Government after successfully completing its three-month trial period, as per MoneyControl’s report. Their internal sources have also suggested that the game will now be subject to quarterly assessments, which means every quarter there shall be a look into how the game’s going, most likely to check if there is something that violates the regulations set by them.
Overall, this is undeniably positive news, although Krafton needs to exercise caution to ensure they don’t face setbacks again, given their successful compliance during the trial period.
