BGMI is stepping into the cricket season in its own style. KRAFTON India has officially announced a collaboration with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This will bring the 5-time and 3-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions respectively, into the game as part of the upcoming BGMI 4.3 update.
BGMI x KKR collab is bringing themed in-game items with Photo Booths
While the global PUBG Mobile 4.3 update is bringing in the Evolving Universe mode, a Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration, and 8th Anniversary celebrations, BGMI thought why global players have all the fun and decided to bring some fun to the Indian audience too.

As part of the collaboration, you will be able to unlock and use exclusive Kolkata Knight Riders-themed items in-game. While the Knight Dominion Set will be the outfit featured, an Eden Charge Buggy vehicle skin will be up for grabs.
Meanwhile, the CSK collaboration introduces its own set of rewards, including the Thala Legacy Set as the outfit and the Thala Monster Truck vehicle skin.
On the creative side of things, we are also getting new Photo Booths in specific maps. Both the CSK and KKR Photo Booth Points of Interest (POIs) will be available across matches that you play in both Erangel and Livik.
Seddharth Merrotra, Head of Business Development and Partnerships, KRAFTON India, shared: “What we’ve built with this collaboration goes beyond cosmetics – it puts the Knight Riders inside the battleground in a way our players can feel mid-match. That’s the standard we want to set for every sports partnership we build inside BGMI.”
“Chennai Super Kings has one of the most devoted fan bases in world cricket, and BGMI has one of the most engaged gaming communities in India. Bringing them together had to feel meaningful for both – not just as a visual crossover, but as a genuine expression of that shared passion. We wanted fans to represent their team identity from inside the game, not just on the surface of it,” he added.
BGMI had also collaborated with the 5-time IPL winner Mumbai Indians before. Overall, it’s a pretty smart crossover. IPL is around the corner, Cricket is huge in India, BGMI is still one of the biggest mobile games, and bringing the two together is helpful for each other’s popularity.
While the BGM 4.3 update is set to arrive on March 19, 2026, the CSK collaboration will go live on the 21st, and the KKR will follow on the 25th of March. The update is also bringing the Evolving Universe mode with updates, including Energy Shield and Vehicle Nitrous Boost.
