- Brawl Stars is removing Trophy Seasons and Trophy Boxes, but box rewards will still appear in Community Events.

Brawl Stars has announced plans to bring some changes to its current Trophy System, scheduled for February 24 after the update maintenance. With Trophy Season and the Trophy Box system removed, the new system will introduce a new Brawler Title in new color, improved matchmaking, and more.
Brawl Stars is bidding farewell to Trophy Seasons and Trophy Box system
So, after the update maintenance goes live, the Trophy Season structure and Trophy Box System will be completed removed from the game. But, don’t worry as you’ll still get one final Trophy Box based on your current Season Trophies before this update is live. Oh, we’ll also get an Ultra Trophy Box once the maintenance ends.
Now, if you’ve managed to reach 3000 Season Trophies before the update, you’ll earn 2 Ultra Boxes as a bonus. Unfortunately, Prestige rankings from the leaderboard will no longer be active, though it’ll be available on the Legacy stat in your Player Profile.
The good news is Ultra Trophy Boxes other Trophy Box tiers will still appear occasionally through special Community Events. Do note that all Brawler of yours above 1000 Trophies will be brought back to 1000 Trophies once the update releases.
The update is bringing improved matchmaking with MMR system, easier ways to get Buffies, and more
The aim of this Trophy System change is creating a more balanced starting point and encouraging us to climb more. I think a change was definitely needed. And I’m really happy that they’re rewarding highly skilled players a new colored Brawler Title. Though I’m not that good, it’ll be cool to flex our achievements.
But the thing I’m eagerly waiting for is that they’re also improving matchmaking with the introduction of an MMR based system like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. I hope the matches become fairer now, and we don’t have to carry bots every 2 matches.
Besides this, you can also look forward to a Resource-Rush event offering more currency for winning matches. Additionally, you’ll also be able to easily obtain more Buffies through various methods.
These include Mega Quests, 1 Free Buffie per new Claw Machine, a Random Buffie offer for 79 Gems, and also through this event. That said, stay tuned more more details during the February 21st Brawl Talk.
