Well Played Games Ltd has announced the soft launch of its dark fantasy collectible card game (CCG), Clans of London, now available on both Android and iOS in select regions like the US, Brazil, Indonesia, and more. This game is based on the classic Vampire: The Masquerade franchise.
Dive into the World of Darkness and experience fast-paced card battles
You’re now getting a new card battler based on another classic tabletop title, this time built around Vampire: The Masquerade by Mark Rein-Hagen. This one takes place in the World of Darkness in modern-day London, where you can battle out in quick 5-minute card duels across 7-turn PvP matches.
To be honest, I’ve only ever played the battle royale title, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, with my friends, and I had great fun. And that alone makes me intrigued to try this new one, especially since it brings in 100s of new Kindred characters, and you also get to choose from classic factions like Tremere, each with unique abilities and play styles.
Build 15-card decks, collect limited variant cards, and master the King of the Hill mechanism
It’s nice that we get to start with a free starter deck, and you can craft your own 15-card decks by mixing vampires and mortals, without any extra filler. That said, I’m more drawn to collecting and upgrading the limited edition card variants, since each one features a new vampire or mortal with distinct powers.
And so far, the game looks promising, especially with the King of the Hill mechanic that rewards you for securing the high-value Prince of London space and defending it from others to gain advantage and bonus points. Now, combine it with photo-realistic card art, various clans, fast card battles, and more, and you’ll surely want to try it out.
Clans of London is now available in soft launch on both Android and iOS in Brazil, Indonesia, Poland, the US, the Philippines, Canada, Romania, and Thailand. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. Stay tuned for global launch updates!
