Clash of Clans has now stepped into its first month of the new year, with January 2026 kicking off things with fresh events, challenges, and rewards. So, without any further delay, here’s the complete rundown of what’s happening throughout January.
Clash of Clans January 2026 Weekly Events Explained
Overview
The Desert Nights season brings forward sandy theme full of dunes vibe to the village. One of the main highlights is obviously the return of the Goblin Builder, available throughout the month. Alongside that, you can enjoy Clan War Leagues (CWL), new events, hero skins, challenges, and various reward events all month.
Week 1: January 1 to January 5
CWL and return of Goblin Builder
The month opens with CWL kicking off on January 1 until January 11, giving clans a full week and more of competitive wars. And from today, you can take help of the Goblin Builder for a few gems.
Dune Dustup Challenge Level
Besides CWL, you can also take part in the Dune Dustup Challenge, beat your enemies in the fun challenge level, and collect all the rewards.
Desert Nights Scenery and Hero Skins
On January 3, you can change the whole scenery of your village into a grand palace of the Desert Nights. And, from January 5, you’ll be able to get the new themed hero skins to transform your heroes.
Week 2 and 3: January 6 to January 21
Trader Specials
From January 6, you can enjoy discount offers in items in the Trader Shop, including Magic Items, skins, and decorations. Moreover, by buying a Magic Item offer, you unlock more less-discounted offer below. That said, Magic Item discount offers depends on your TH level.
Equipment Blast Event
You’re getting another new event from January 9, and it is the Equipment Blast Event. Through this one, your heroes will be able to catch-up on Equipment, provided you participate in the event.
Week 4: January 22 to January 31
Clan Games
So, Clan Games are returning on January 22, now bringing the Strongman’s tasks, and completing these tasks earn you rewards.
Treasure HuntÂ
Similar to November 25, Treasure Hunt event is wrapping up the fourth week, arriving on January 28. During this event, you just have to attack enemy bases and collect hidden chests for free rewards.
