Remedy Entertainment, known for Max Payne, has announced that its critically acclaimed action–adventure title, Control Ultimate Edition, is set to launch on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro in early 2026. This game won over 80 awards and is finally arriving on mobile with all the extra content.

This is big news for mobile gaming, as Control is finally set to arrive next year, via Apple. Honestly, I never imagined I’d get to play this masterpiece on mobile, considering how graphic-heavy it is. I still remember the excitement when Epic Games gave it away for free, and I was lucky enough to get it just in time.
It went on to win Game of the Year from IGN and Best Art Design from The Game Awards, which speaks volumes about its quality. For those unfamiliar, Control is a visually striking game, where you play as Jesse Faden, the new Director of FBC. Here, a strange force known as the Hiss has corrupted reality, and only you’ve the power to fight back.
Players can master telekinetic combat and evolving weapons
It turns the world around you into a weapon, letting you bend and break environments in unpredictable ways. You’ll soon get to enjoy Remedy‘s signature world-building and storytelling in full force. As you search for your missing brother, you’ll also unravel this supernatural mystery, filled with eerie characters and special moments.
What I’m most eager to revisit is the combat. I mean, there’s nothing quite like unleashing telekinetic power and transforming your weapon mid-fight to crush enemies and bosses. Plus, we’ll get the Ultimate Edition, packed with the full game, both expansions, and all bonus content like Expeditions and Photo Mode.
Control Ultimate Edition is set to launch in early 2026 on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. It is yet to be listed on the App Store, so stay tuned for more updates!
