Coolabi Group has announced an official Warrior Cats title, which is scheduled to launch globally in 2027. They’ve now secured a deal with Red Games Co., and this upcoming title based on the best-selling series is currently in development.

It looks like you won’t have to stick to Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition on Roblox anymore, because an official Warrior Cats is finally in development for mobile. Coolabi Group has now teamed up with Red Games Co., which has worked with industry giants like LEGO, Mattel, and more, and even has its own IP for it.
For those unfamiliar, Warrior Cats is a beloved fantasy novel series by Erin Hunter that offers the adventures, rivalries, and bonds of multiple Clans of feral cats. Here, each clan lives in its own unique terrain, and what really attracts the fans is the blend of tense conflict and touching moments.

And it’s actually no surprise to me that this is Collabi’s biggest IP, having dominated the New York Times bestseller list for over 15 years straight, while amassing a huge fanbase on Roblox, with 600m+ plays. While we don’t have many details on the game, we do know it will release in 12 languages initially everywhere, except China.
Jeremy Banks, CEO at Coolabi Group’s shared his excitement, stating, “We are very excited to work with the enormously talented team at Red Games Co. to bring our first mobile game to fans new and old.” Given how titles like Stray proved that people love cat-based adventures, I’ve high hopes for this one, and if done right, it can do wonders.
