NHN Corp., known for Guns Up! Mobile, has announced the global test for their open-world multiplayer zombie survival title, DARKEST DAYS, set to run from February 24, 2025, to March 3, 2025, on Mobile and PC platforms.
Survive in a vast open world filled with zombies by making tough choices
DARKEST DAYS is an open-world multiplayer zombie survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a mysterious zombie virus. In this game, you have to survive a city overrun by zombies, while defending yourself against both the undead and hostile humans.
I am impressed by the game’s stunning open world, featuring high-quality graphics, diverse terrains, and captivating natural environments, making me want to explore right now. The post-apocalyptic visuals perfectly complement the game’s tone. While survival won’t be that easy in such extreme environments, however, you will encounter various villagers, each with their abilities.
You need to protect yourself from any danger, by growing with these villagers, also known as the defenders of the shelter. Together, you can build shelters to endure endless battles, looting, and resource depletion from both zombies and other humans. These shelters serve as hubs for production, supplies, and rest.
The multiplayer features looked exciting to me, including modes like Lonetree Tunnel, a co-op mode where you and other survivors defend against waves of zombies, as well as Construction Site on the 37th, Bielli Island, and Rootland. The game looks very promising, and this upcoming Global test will reveal just how much it has to offer.
