Serenity Forge has launched the fan-favorite psychological horror adventure, Doki Doki Literature Club, now available on both Android and iOS. Developed by Team Salvato, this cult classic indie game was first released on PC in 2017 and has finally been ported to mobile after all these years.

This psychological horror actually changed the way many look at school romance, and still, the unsettling charm is well-loved, considering it has over 30m+ downloads.

So, you step in as a high school student who joins the Literature Club in hopes of finding a romantic interest. And, through poems and choices, you can get closer to your crush while slowly uncovering the darker horrors of school romance. Now I can relate to the fans, as one stated, “Not letting her get through my phone, bro,” as Monika, the leader of the club, is, in fact, scary. The Literature Club may look adorable with members like Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri, and, of course, Monika, but don’t let them fool you. They’ll traumatize us again.

I mean, while it’s fun to chit-chat with them and enjoy the fun activities, the tone can shift at any moment as Monika tries to blackmail us, and they start going against one another. This is why the game doesn’t suit players who’re easily disturbed, since it involves psychological elements. But it’s actually a solid one, considering the overwhelming response it got.
