Another Thursday is here, and as expected, eFootball 2026 is bringing a few new additions, mostly Epic players. Well, we have quite a few surprises here. While a new Legend is making his debut as a Big Time card, we also have Camp Nou making its debut on the mobile version, finally, after a long time.
However, all eyes will be on the available freebies with eFootball celebrating the 950 million downloads milestone with a campaign in 2026. So, here’s everything you need to know about the eFootball 2026 January 2026 update.
eFootball 2026 January 2026 update: All additions and details explained
eFootball 2026 celebrates 950 million downloads campaign
KONAMI has launched a massive 950 million downloads campaign to celebrate eFootball’s latest global milestone. This special campaign runs from January 15 until February 5, 2026, and as usual, there’s plenty to explore.
Once again, Campaign Hub is home to plenty of rewards. You can advance by playing PvP or VS AI matches during the event period. As you advance, you earn tickets that can be used in special draws, with Golden Tickets giving players a chance to win up to 1,000 eFootball Coins.

If you remember, this is similar to those during the Black Friday campaign, where we got a chance to get 3000 coins, ofcourse if we were lucky. Now, there’s also a login campaign, with a total of 300 eFootball Coins on offer. The structure is simple: logging in each day grants 10 Coins, and on Day 15, you receive a special bonus of 100 eFootball Coins.
As part of the celebration, eFootball 2026 also features multiple limited-time events, including Special Tour Event: Partner Clubs, the Special Challenge Event, which introduces high-difficulty matches on Superstar and Legend, and the Golden Goal Event.
Epic Manchester United: George Best debuts
The biggest headline of this update is the debut of George Best as a Big Time card in eFootball 2026. This marks his first appearance in the game as a Big Time player, and KONAMI has clearly positioned him as the centerpiece of the week’s content, lip-smacking for sure for Manchester United fans.
Best arrives with an overall rating of 104 at RWF, and a potential 109-110 card, making him one of the strongest wide attackers currently available. This version of George Best is a Prolific Winger, giving him Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass as ST skills.
Alongside him is Bryan Robson, who’s getting an Epic card after a long time but as a Box-To-Box, and Peter Schmeichel, who’s again a Defensive GK getting strong stat treatment. While Peter misses out on a GK Show Time skill, Robson gets Visionary Pass and Blitz Curler.
Another amazing fact with this pack is that we are getting a discount on signing players. Yes, for 10 players, you can sign them for 500 coins. If the luck’s on your side, well, you might pull any of the three Epics here. Overall, a really strong Box here.
New Stadium arrives: Spotify Camp Nou
One of the most requested features by mobile players has finally arrived. As part of the January 15, 2026 Live Update, KONAMI has officially added Spotify Camp Nou to the mobile version of eFootball 2026.
This marks the first time the iconic Barcelona stadium becomes playable on mobile, bringing console-level atmosphere and presentation to our small screens. The stadium does not download automatically, so you must manually install the data.
Monday Epic pack
Looking ahead to next Monday, KONAMI is also lining up another exciting Epic release, featuring Denis Irwin, Gerard Piqué, and Massimo Ambrosini.
