As the v5.2.0 update hits our screens, eFootball 2026 is celebrating the upcoming FIFAe World Cup 25 with a packed in-game campaign that brings daily free signings, a refreshed Campaign Hub, a new Squad Challenge mode, and multiple themed rewards.
Alongside the main event, KONAMI has also added a Flamengo celebration campaign and new Epic and Show Time cards. Here’s a simple breakdown of everything included in the FIFAe World Cup 25 Campaign.
eFootball 2026 December 2025 update: All campaigns and additions explained
FIFAe World Cup 25 Campaign
The major addition of this update is the FIFAe World Cup 25 Campaign, which is celebrating the official esports competition that is set to begin on 10th December 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Running from 4th December to 18th December, 2025, the overall campaign promises us a free Manager, up to 150 coins, a free Show Time chance, and many in-game items.
The Campaign Hub returns in a new format where you earn points by playing online matches or VS AI and then spend these points directly on rewards. Training, Exhibition, and Skill Up matches do not count. The weekly point limit also increases as the event continues.
Among the rewards in the Campaign Hub is Gennaro Gattuso. He gets 89 Proficiency in Out Wide formation, along with the Diagonal Long Pass A Link-up Play. A solid free manager is on offer here.
You can claim one free Show Time player every day during the campaign. The box stays active throughout the period, so even if other boxes are reset, this daily reward continues. The event started with ST Michael Olise, and new players can be expected.
A new mode called Squad Challenge is available under the name Team Effort. Each win gives rewards, but any player used in a victory becomes unavailable for the next match. Rewards include booster tokens, skill tokens, and GP.
CAF and eFootball Partnership
KONAMI has officially started its collaboration with CAF, bringing African football content into eFootball. This includes Africa Cup of Nations themes and future updates tied to national teams and tournaments under CAF. This will reflect with the tournament coming on the 11th of December to eFootball.
CR Flamengo Winner Campaign
To celebrate CR Flamengo’s recent championship victory, eFootball has added a small themed event. Players can claim a free Highlight chance deal through login and earn two more by completing a VS AI event. CR Flamengo players also receive a temporary Live Update Rating A.
New Manager and Packs
As mentioned in my v5.2.0 article, Ronald Koeman arrives as a 750 coin offering. He gets 89 Proficiency in Out Wide while getting 88 in Possession Game. His Link-Up is a focus on Aggressive Centring A.
As for the players, two new Epics, David Beckham and Jan Koller, join the lineup alongside Show Time versions of Pedro Neto and Hugo Ekitike. The first two get the best of the Show Time skills for a Crosser and a striker, so they easily can be your best picks.
