Rumours around eFootball are picking up again, this time involving Thierry Henry. According to the same source that previously hinted at Pepe’s arrival, KONAMI has reportedly started talks to bring the legendary forward into the game.
Henry will arrive as a Legend Epic, possibly with a Big Time version in eFootball 2026
The claim has divided the community, with some fully trusting the leaker while others feel the information has been thin and couldn’t be a fixed arrival, since they have just “opened talks” with the superstar.

The doubt is understandable. Even when Pepe was first mentioned, there was no clear evidence in older posts, and nothing concrete surfaced immediately. Still, Pepe eventually arrived as a Legend Epic card in November this year.
If Thierry Henry does make it into eFootball, expectations are already high. I think he would debut as a Legend Epic card, and we can also hope for a Big Time version similar to how Zlatan was handled, but hope they get full licensing and not end up deleting media promotions at the end, as they did with the Lion.
Skill-wise, we can expect Show Time options like Momentum Dribbling, Acceleration Burst, Phenomenal Finishing, or Willpower, which could make Henry one of the most dangerous forwards in the game. Affinity could be either Barcelona or Arsenal, as KONAMI has licensing for both.
This situation feels familiar. In the past, players like Pelé and Puskás were found through commentary and audio leaks long before their official release. Zidane followed a similar pattern, with commentary lines appearing even though his card had yet to arrive.
Well, for now, these are just reports. The only wish is that this comes true, and we might have an explosive winger in our hands. Of course, we might need to have some coins to spend, or maybe spend some bucks.
