- Epic Games has filed a lawsuit against a former contractor accused of leaking Fortnite collaborations.
- The contractor allegedly leaked confidential information using the aliases AdiraFNInfo and AdiraFN.
- Leaks reportedly included collaborations like South Park and Solo Leveling before announcements.
Well, this is a development I wasn’t expecting, as this is quite surprising when you read the whole thing. Epic Games has announced that it has taken legal action against a former contractor who allegedly leaked confidential Fortnite collaboration details while working with the company.
In a public statement, Epic said the contractor repeatedly shared confidential partner IP and internal trade secrets, which the company says harmed its relationships with partners and disrupted upcoming content plans.
According to the court filing, the defendant Hayden Cohen, who allegedly operated online under the names “AdiraFNInfo” on X (formerly Twitter) and “AdiraFN” on Discord, had access to sensitive information while working as an Associate Producer contractor on Epic projects.
Epic states that Cohen had signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) as part of his work. However, the company claims he later used his access to internal systems to obtain details about upcoming Fortnite collaborations and shared them publicly through social media posts.
The lawsuit says these leaks were not obtained through public data mining or other legitimate methods, but instead came from internal information only accessible through Epic’s systems.
Leaks reportedly revealed multiple Fortnite collaborations before the public announcement
Epic alleges that during January and February 2026, the contractor leaked details about more than a dozen upcoming Fortnite collaborations to thousands of followers online.
For example, the filing mentions a post from January 6, 2026, where the leaker shared details about a then-unannounced Fortnite collaboration with South Park, including cosmetic items that had not yet been revealed publicly.

Epic officially announced the South Park crossover two days later on January 8, with the cosmetics arriving in-game shortly after. The lawsuit also references another incident from January 13, 2026, where the same account allegedly leaked that a Solo Leveling collaboration was being prepared.
Epic did not officially confirm that crossover until February 18, 2026, more than a month later. Epic also attached social media screenshots to confirm its case.
Overall, this is pretty messy as people inside the workspace are jeopardizing the company’s efforts. Surely, there might be different cases where the leaks we get might be an insider “confidential” info. Look into this space as we expect more info on this story.
