Lead your Guild to glory in FC Tactical in the new Guild Arena
The new March 2025 update will bring new features that will build stronger bonds among players and encourage more competitiveness. With the new Guild Arena, FC Tactical allows players to focus more on team collaboration with strategic deck management and playstyle flexibility.
In the Guild Arena, you can now battle against other guilds and your guildmates in an asynchronous-based multiplayer mode. Prepare for some intense, strategic GvG battles to claim dominance. The battles or tournaments will be seasonal and require special attack and defense decks. Guild Arena will bring:
- Asynchronous Guild Matches: Compete against other guilds in several weekly cycles during a season.
- Prepare and Strategize: Create special limited Offense and Defense decks with your guildmates to dominate matches.
- Seasonal Rankings: Earn trophies to climb the ranks in the leaderboard and get epic rewards

You can already understand, that EA hopes to make the Guild Arena similar to the League vs League tournaments in FC Mobile. As FC Mobile revamped its Leagues system earlier this year, FC Tactical is following suit, encouraging its players to take the game beyond winning some matches. Now it will be about clever planning, and making strategic moves while working as a team. With these, there are some new in-game elements as well:
- Custom Deck Building: Collaborate with your guildmates to maximize strategy and synergy.
- NPC Guilds: Face off against AI-controlled guilds if matching player guilds are unavailable.
- Unique Scoring System: Win matches to earn trophies and climb the ranks. Goal difference and match duration will decide the winner in case of Ties.
- Dynamic Phases: Guild Arena seamlessly integrates preparation, action, and results tallying, offering a well-paced experience.
Some of these new features are interesting, given you will now be facing AI-controlled NPC Guilds should the game’s matchmaking system not find you a proper Guild. This is not present in FC Mobile as well, something entirely new and will help ensure fair and uninterrupted competition. Additionally, with Goal Difference being the deciding factor in case of draws, players will be forcing more into attacks than defense bringing further chaos in the gameplay!
How to play the new Guild Arena in FC Tactical
To avoid confusion, EA has divided the phases in Guild Arena into three phases in their discussion blog:
Preparation Phase
First comes the initial preparation phase, and as the name suggests, all the Guild members will be building and submitting their initial decks. The Guild Master or Leader will then go through the decks and shortlist the best decks suitable for offense and defense. Therefore the Guild Master will need to go through a lot of last-minute strategic planning while finalising the decks.
Match Phase
Next comes the actual game. You will be using your Offense decks to attack the opposing Guilds. Similar to League vs League (LvL) tournaments in FC Mobile, you will be playing against the opposing guilds with three Guilds in one cycle.

Defensive decks similar to LvL tournaments will be auto-played when attacked by the opposition. Hence you won’t have any active control over your defense while your players defend against rival attackers. Therefore I suggest focusing more on scoring Goals ie on your attack because that’s under your control.
Interval Phase
The Interval as it sounds works as a halftime break or cooldown period in between cycles where players can refresh their strategies and rectify their mistakes if any before the next Guild cycle begins. You will be viewing your guild’s performance and rewards before the next cycle begins.
Guild Arena Rewards System
Winning battles in Guild Arena will not only enable you to rise the Guild leaderboards but fetch you lots of rewards and in-game resources including:
- Match Rewards: Earn rewards after every match, win or lose.
- Cycle Rewards: Additional prizes based on your rank within the group.
- Season Rewards: The higher your guild’s rank at the season’s end, the better the rewards!
The rewards you earn from playing the Guild Arena will include exclusive rewards, training resources, and other in-game items. There are new Guild Arena medals up for grabs as well that you can exchange for unique items.
Additionally, along with seasonal Resets in the Guild and diverse match types, every cycle feels fresh and competitive. With this March 2025 update, EA promises to deliver features that make playing FC Tactical with your guildmates more engaging and rewarding.
