FIFA Heroes is finally stepping onto the pitch, at least for a few players. The arcade-style football game has officially begun its regional early access rollout on Android, starting with Singapore and Malaysia, and now expanding to the Philippines as well.
FIFA Heroes features fast-paced 5v5 arcade football with superpowers
Originally announced in October last year, FIFA Heroes is being positioned as a fast-paced, arcade football experience rather than a traditional simulation. The game is developed by ENVER Studio and published by Solace Games, featuring official FIFA licensing and real-world footballers through FIFPRO.
Instead of full-length matches, FIFA Heroes focuses on quick 5v5 games lasting around 90 seconds. Something that is unique with this title is superpower-based gameplay, where you can use abilities like teleporting across the pitch, unleashing powerful shots, or even freezing opponents mid-play.
The game also mixes things up by including FIFA mascots, real-life players, and even fictional-style characters. There’s also a FIFA World Cup 2026 mode planned, featuring mascots like Maple, Zayu, and Clutch, so all these make the title different from other games in the market.
This marks the first phase of a staged launch, with more regions expected to join soon. I see FIFA Heroes is shaping up to be a very different take on mobile football, and this early access phase should give us a first look at how it all plays out before the full launch, and whether it will compete with the other titles in the market.
