- Football Manager 26 launches worldwide on November 4 across multiple platforms.
- Unity engine powers a redesigned interface and upgraded visuals for the 2026 edition.
- Save game compatibility lets players carry careers forward from FM23 and FM24.
Football Manager 26 is getting a release soon! After the cancellation of Football Manager 25, Sports Interactive and SEGA are ready to make things right with Football Manager 26, which officially launches on November 4, 2025.
The game will be released on PC and Mac, along with the FM26 Console for Xbox and PS5, as well as the FM26 Mobile for Android and iOS on Netflix Games. FM26 Touch for Nintendo Switch will follow on December 4, 2025.
Women’s football and Premier League licenses mark a new era for Football Manager 26
For the first time, the series is powered by the Unity engine, giving players a redefined managerial experience. One of the biggest highlights is the addition of women’s football, which has been seamlessly integrated into the Football Manager world with licensed competitions and a huge database of players.

Experience the future of football management.
The arrival of the Premier League as a fully licensed partner also brings authentic club logos, kits, and real player photos. So the game is all set to be that “true sequel with groundbreaking changes“, something that has been mentioned by the makers for a long time.
The matchday experience has also been upgraded with new volumetric animations inspired by real-life matches, along with improved visuals that make every moment on the pitch more dramatic. The redesigned interface gives more control and smoother navigation.
Another major step forward is save game compatibility. Players can carry over their careers from FM23 and FM24, and for the first time, FM Mobile will also support this feature. This ensures managers can continue their long-term journeys without starting from scratch.
The announcement has arrived, yes, but the store pages are not active yet. The pricing is also not out yet, so we need to wait for a while for this to be revealed. Until then, stay tuned.
