When a new Season starts in Fortnite there is a sense of excitement and hope for new challenges amongst the fans by the time the current one ends. But this time around emotions is different as Epic Games has announced that the current Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is ending sooner than the anticipated date. This news has got the whole Fortnite community stirred up as now they have even lesser time to complete the challenges and earn rewards from the battle pass.
The current season was expected to end in the later parts of March
Another reason for a possible upset is the fact that the season was earlier scheduled to end in late March, hence many planned out their schedule of completing their challenges on the battle passes. The Geralt of Rivia quest will be added for the second part of the questline on February 28th and the season will end on March 8th meaning only 8 days to get the famed Butcher of Blavikin.
This Witcher quest is one of the main reasons why the fans have been protesting with Epic Games regarding the abrupt end to the season. Many fans wanted to have their hands on the witcher but with only 8 days in hand, it seems they will have to grind hard to make that possible.
Epic however on their part is trying to help the players out by granting a points multiplier for the experience gained by the players on specific days of the season, particularly in the final week to make up for this decision of ending the season early.
Players can now login anytime starting March 2 for a boost of Supercharged XP each day and finish the battle pass sooner and before the deadline. The community has given a mixed response to the news, with the regular gamers who had already finished the quests before supporting the decision of ending the season early and the seasonal players who have much left to do, criticizing the decision publically.

Awesome tired of the DragonBall z crap don’t play like I used too to much cheating and hacking going on and nothing gets done about it when reported. Won’t be purchasing battle pass any longer didn’t this season friend gifted me one. If skins are anime definitely won’t be playing much next season either.
