Fortnite is known for its collaborations with famous franchises. These collaborations not only help Epic Games grow financially but also aid in increasing the game’s as well as the franchise’s popularity. Recently a few leakers leaked a new collaboration between Fortnite and The Last of Us. The Last of Us is a popular game and now getting launched as a show will only attract more players to Fortnite. The launch date for the collaboration is yet to be known.
Fortnite x The Last of Us collaboration to feature the skin of Joel and Ellie
A podcast clip was shared by prominent leaker iFireMonkey in which the collaboration launch was made more than obvious. In the podcast, Nick Baker a popular gamer from XboxEra was recorded talking about the latest collaboration.
“In the interest of The Last of Us leaks, I got told that there’s gonna be a Last of Us Fortnite collab.” He added that the collaboration will most probably include the skin of Joel and Ellie. The release date is still to be known but Nick speculated that the collaboration can either coincide with the remake of the game or it can be launched during the release of the show.
Briefly, in the podcast, Nick Baker claimed that he had gathered this information from more than one source so it seems like this is reliable information. Though he mentioned that he wasn’t sure about the time of the release of the collaboration.
The game remake would arrive rather sooner, so if Epic Games plans on releasing the collaboration around it then we will see Fortnite and The Last of Us collaboration around September but if the collaboration is set to release around the show’s launch then we won’t get to see it until the first half of 2023.
