Fortnite never shies away from collaborations and it is apparent from the plethora of crossovers they take part in. Epic Games had already collaborated once with the world-famous pro wrestling company WWE almost a year back with a superstar like John Cena getting his own skin in the game along with other WWE-themed items. Now leaks have surfaced once again which hint at another collaboration to be in the works with WWE which might be coming soon to Fortnite.
Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair are set to arrive in Fortnite
Fortnite first partnered with WWE all the way back in 2018 when the Lucha Set was released which included the Dynamo luchadora and the Masked Fury luchadora skins. Now Fortnite dataminer BarbieharpFN claims on X that skins of Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will be included in the game
Two new pickaxes along with backpacks are also set to be a part of the bundle which will cost 2400 V-Bucks and will also feature an all-new victory pose. The animation will show the winning player getting a hold of the championship belt upon victory.
Official WWE post has confirmed the leaks further
The official Instagram account of WWE had posted two photos of Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair respectively. Both of them can be seen holding two life-sized Fortnite pickaxes namely the Rainbow Smash axe and the Party Animal Slurp keg axe respectively. The caption reads “gearing up for something”, which is definitely hinting at the WWE x Fortnite crossover in the future.
The post also has a Paid Partnership mark along with the “#ad” hashtag which is evidence enough to prove the claims of the leaker. The new bundle according to the leaks will also be the most expensive WWE item when compared to the previous items which were launched during the Fortnite and WWE collaborations in the past.
