Garena Free Fire launches its new football-themed campaign, Fire Kickoff, inviting players and football fans alike to celebrate the football season through the spirit of “Kick Off for Passion.” Now live until June 21, 2026, the event brings special game modes, themed content, exclusive rewards, and unique football-inspired gameplay across multiple maps.
Compete on Bermuda’s new football arena and fight your way back into the match
As part of the Fire Kickoff campaign, Free Fire’s maps now feature a football-themed makeover with redesigned items, decorations, and event activities. So, you can now dive into various challenges throughout the event and collect exclusive rewards inspired by the beautiful game.
One of the biggest highlights in BR mode is the transformation of Bermuda’s Factory area into a dedicated football field. This new location features interactive elements and serves as a special hotspot where you can engage in football-themed battles. The Pitch Showdown Revival system, which is available across all maps during the early to mid stages of each match, is also a nice addition, since it sends eliminated players to a football arena for a 1v1 showdown, with the winner returning to the battlefield, just like COD’s Gulag.
New football mechanics arrive on Battle Royale and Clash Squad
Free Fire also introduces two football-inspired gameplay features:
Football Form
- You can transform into a football and move quickly across the map.
- You can also perform jumps and agile movements.
- Let teammates kick you for creative plays and surprise attacks.
Football Blast
- This one is available exclusively in BR mode.
- You can launch explosive football grenades at enemies.
Progress through a football tournament and unlock rewards
The campaign also includes an interactive football journey event where you can play as a footballer and advance through a five-stage tournament. At every stage, you must complete a football shooting mini-game inspired by decisive match-making moments to continue progressing. And by participating in matches and completing missions, you can earn tokens to advance through the event.
And by completing the full journey, you get several exclusive items, including:
- Football-themed Backpack.
- Female Bundle grand prize.
Moreover, you can also expect even more football-themed cosmetics in the in-game store, including:
- Customizable Unisex Football Jersey with editable nickname and jersey number.
