After the successful collaboration with Brazilian pop icon, Garena announces the Free Fire Patroa Cup, a new women’s championship in the process. With the first phase already being scheduled for 28-29th of May and 4-5th June 2022, teams participating in the tournament have already been defined.
There will be a total of 24 teams in the tournament, among which 18 are invited. In addition, the other vacancies will be filled by teams from the community, after the selection process is held between the 18-22nd of May. In all, 891 teams registered to participate in this championship.

Free Fire Patroa Cup: Tournament format and prize pool
The two best teams from each group qualify directly for the grand final, which will take place on June 12. In the semifinal, which will take place on June 11, the teams that are positioned at 3rd and 8th from each group (12 teams in total), play against each other to decide who will go on to the final. The eight best placed in the semifinals proceed further to the last stage. Finally, the two best-placed teams at the end of the championship will guarantee direct access to the COPA FF, which will start on June 22. The winning team will take home a trophy and a cash prize of R$10,000 (~ $2100)
All Free Fire fans across the globe will be able to see the match as it’ll be broadcast on OPEN TV by RedeTv. Additionally, the tournament will also be available on YouTube, TikTok, and BOOYAH tv from 1 pm. The tournament will also feature a presentation by Camilota XP, narration by Acelora, comments by Isa13, and the participation of reporter OpzMila.
