Gameloft is bringing back its puzzle adventure title, Carmen Sandiego, now available on both Android and iOS. The game first debuted this January as a Netflix Games exclusive following its reveal in September 2024, but it was slashed along with 21 other titles in July.

If you remember, Carmen Sandiego first landed on mobile via Netflix Games as a fresh reboot of the beloved series. While Netflix later cancelled it, which was disappointing, Gameloft is now stepping in to bring it back for us, and I’m glad that they didn’t give up on mobile.
For anyone new, this is a puzzle adventure title where you finally get to play as the iconic Scarlet Super Thief, Carmen Sandiego. The story picks up with VILE making a comeback, and you temporarily team up with ACME to stop the syndicate before their next big heist.
Uncover clues and hidden secrets worldwide while using gadgets
Even after its abrupt removal, I’m still excited to explore the real-world locations like Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. I mean, there is something fun about uncovering clues and hidden secrets across these vibrant cities with immersive environments and stunning visuals.
But my favorite part is the range of gadgets we can use here, from gliding across rooftops to grappling between buildings. Moreover, we can even switch between night vision, UV, and thermal modes like a real spy to hunt suspects and uncover clues. Overall, it is very fun with interviews, a 3D world, mini-games, and more.
Carmen Sandiego is now available on both Android and iOS, for $4.99. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store.
