Good Mobile Games Private has opened pre-registration for their GTA-like open-world RPG, Garena Free City, on both Android and iOS in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa regions. The game previously held early access in Thailand and Indonesia, followed by a soft launch in Argentina.
Get ready to wreak havoc in the richly detailed open world
If you are unaware of Garena Free City, it’s an open-world adventure RPG with a Western gangster theme. Heavily inspired by GTA V and GTA Online. In this game, you can do all sorts of wild activities, just like in GTA titles, from intense missions involving stealth and assassinations to taking over the city, and more.
As a huge GTA fan, I am super hyped for this one, and it looks far more promising and polished, unlike most GTA-inspired titles on mobile. You will get to take part in thrilling shootouts, high-speed car chases, boss fights, and more as you work on conquering the underworld.
Perform heists with your friends, throw parties, and customize your cars and weapons
Moreover, it also features GTA Online-like multiplayer, allowing you to engage in team quests with friends, and hop onto exciting activities like bumper car battles, and bank heists, or just chill around, by customizing your character, vehicle, and weapons, watching TV, throwing parties, and more.
The game is also offering various pre-registration exclusive rewards, like the Marauder Hyena car, 10 Vehicle Gacha Vouchers, 10,000 in-game cash, and a Top Hardcore Fans T-shirt. That being said, if you have taken part in the previous CBT, make sure to uninstall the game.
Garena Free City is now available for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. You can download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. The devs have promised to expand the pre-registration to more regions. According to the App Store listing, it is expected to launch on June 30, 2025.
