Genshin Impact leaks: New Boss Ruin Serpent to arrive with 2.6 version update

Have a look at the new weekly boss!

Genshin Impact beta leaks revealed the in-game model of the new Ruin Serpent monster, which will be introduced in update 2.6. The official Genshin Impact 2.5 live stream revealed a considerable amount of content that will be available to gamers soon.

Version 2.6 update will add the new territory Chasm to the game, according to the discussion during the show. The new Genshin Impact enemy from the Automaton family, the Ruin Serpent, is slated to debut in this new location.

Ruin Serpent might be the new weekly boss

The in-game model of the new enemy revealing what may be the new Weekly Boss in the upcoming patch update has been revealed according to a recent leak on the famous Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit. This new monster appears to be a snake-like creature that resembles a Khaen’riah digging machine.

Fans have speculated on the new boss’s behavior, claiming that, based on previously available official material, this enemy might constantly vanish underground (much like the Geovishaps adversaries) and break the earth to deliver massive AOE damage. The Ruin Serpent’s drill-like face and tail will whirl around and inflict extra damage, emphasizing the necessity for a powerful Shield Support character.

The following is an unofficial translation of the Ruin Serpent’s description: An ancient, aberrant ruin device. Legends say that it is heavy machinery used for engineering purposes, left behind by the destroyed nation. The gear-shaped structure of the ‘head’ can excavate the hardest layers of rock with ease. If this was the case, borrowing its powers, the great army would have been able to traverse the continent easily via various hidden underground paths.”

This raises the question of whether the excavated corridors will be made available to players, as well as what lore it will disclose regarding Khaen’riah’s destruction or likely location.

Genshin Impact beta leaks create excitement ahead of an update

Each Genshin Impact update has its beta phase, which unveils the majority of the planned content ahead of miHoYo’s formal announcement. Those leaks normally generate a lot of excitement, especially if they reveal a new character or locale. More information on the new Genshin Impact character Kamisato Ayato, the enigmatic Hydro sword wielder and ruler of the Kamisato clan, was released in the beta for Genshin Impact 2.6.
