Genshin Impact: List of locations that actually exist in real-life

No wonder the game is as successful as it is!

Genshin Impact is no doubt a very famous and fun game to play, but the game also lets players experience and access real-life locations to add a realistic touch to a completely alternate universe of anime. Recently a user on Reddit by the username Souvik_Dutta shared an insight into the locations available in the game, with a video sharing a glimpse of the real-life locations followed by the in-game incarnation of those places.

Genshin Impact does a really good job of bringing real-life locations to the game

The game, Gensin Impact is often acknowledged for the graphics and combat system the developers offer in the game, however, recently enough, a fan on the Reddit page of the game by the username Souvik_Dutta shared a post, highlighting the real-life references the game makes in terms of festivals and locations. Here we will highlight what are some of the references the game has made thus far.

1. Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Ha Long Bay is a destination located in Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam. The destination is not only a famous tourist attraction but also is counted as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. Genshin Impact does a great job of including the location in the game.

2. Himeji Castle, Japan

The unique castle is located in the middle of the city of Himeji and is considered a historical masterpiece, the castle is regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle architecture. The castle consists of now instinctive sort of defense mechanisms used in ancient Japan, thus marking it as an important addition to the Genshin collection.

3. Isle of Skye, Scotland

The Isle is the largest of its stature and northernmost of the major islands in the local vicinity of Scotland, the very place was inhabited and occupied by various tribes and empires thus adding a historical touch and a cultural reference to the place.

5. Mont-Saint-Michel, France

Mont-Saint-Michel is a tidal island and mainland commune in Normandy, France. The monument is a historical masterpiece and draws the attention of curious tourists on a global basis, the castle is surrounded by water on 4 sides and has a very cultural feels to it. It makes a brilliant addition to the game.

6. Matterhorn, Switzerland

Matterhorn is added in the game to add to the beautiful scenarios in the game, Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, straddling the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. The mountain definitely adds to the feel of the game and gives the players a unique experience.

7. Tianmen Mountains, China

Tianmen Mountain is a mountain located within Tianmen Mountain National Park, Zhangjiajie. The Mountain range has the longest passenger cableway of high mountains in the world and is a pretty famous spot for Tourists in China.

8. Lantern Festival, China

Now, this is not a location but a festival and part of the culture of China. The Lantern Festival is also called Shangyuan Festival and is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar. This adds a cultural feel to the game, thus adding value to the game.

9. Elephant Trunk Hill, China

The Elephant Trunk Hill is a hill, landmark, and tourist attraction in Guilin, Guangxi, China. The place is pretty famous in Chinese culture for being a symbol of Guilin, which makes it one of the most visited places both for domestic and international visitors.

10. Huanglong River, China

Huanglong River, historically known as Zengzigang River, is a right-bank tributary of the Xiang River in Wangcheng District. The river is famous for the beautiful natural views it offers for travelers and visitors. It is a proper tourist spot and is visited by thousands every year. It also adds to the environment of the game in Genshin Impact.

11. Honghe Hani Terraces, China

The Honghe Hani Rice Terraces are a system of Hani rice-growing terraces located in Honghe Prefecture, Yuanyang County, Yunnan, China. The place is well renowned for the natural slopes available there in terms of foothills which give the whole place a very soothing and peaceful view.

12. Tianzi Mountains, China

Tianzi Mountain is a mountain in Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province of China, close to the Suoxi Valley in South Central China. Before the Ming Dynasty, which also created the great wall in China, the mountain was known for the presence of green stones, the mountain is unique in shape and adds great value to the game.

The game Genshin Impact really adds a great many examples of real-life examples whether it is the locations or the festival underlining the cultural references, this might be the reason behind the fact that this game blew up and players from a global audience liked the game.
