Genshin Impact Sumeru Update: Indian connect, God of Wisdom, Academia and more

All you need to know about Genshin Impact Sumeru update!

Many Genshin Impact players don’t know much about Sumeru, but with rumors about it being related to India, we will discuss what we know and expect in the new update. Teyvat is a sophisticated world based on the unique civilizations of its seven countries and gods. So far, the plot has brought players to Mondstadt, the Land of Contracts, Liyue, and the game’s newest addition, Inazuma, the Nation of Eternity. All of this enthusiasm, though, has Genshin Impact fans wondering what’s next on the game’s country roster.

Sumeru will be the next nation in Genshin Impact. The nation will be guided by knowledge and Academia, as it is the home of the God of Wisdom and Dendro. Even though the premise has remained simple throughout the novel, Sumeru will prove one of the most intricate kingdoms.

Home of the God of Wisdom

In Genshin Impact, each nation revolves around its own Archon and heavenly ideal: freedom, order, eternity, and so forth. In Sumeru’s scenario, the God of Wisdom reigns supreme in the quest for all knowledge. Consequently, the country has grown into a logic-based and wisdom-based society, with the majority of the population participating in the country’s intellectual affairs.

In addition, each country emphasizes the element from which the Archon descended. Sumeru follows the Dendro Archon’s direction, whose abilities provide life to the desert surrounding them. As a result, when players approach the country, they may expect a highly floral and plant-like scene.

Sumeru is based on South Asia

Teyvat’s nation has real-world elements, which is one of the things that makes it so relatable. Mondstadt is modeled after Germany, Liyue is modeled after China, and Inazuma is modeled after Edo-period Japan. Sumeru was most likely influenced by Middle Eastern, especially the First Persian Empire and Indian cultures. It is a study center and is home to the Sumeru Academia.

Sumeru’s terrain consists of both deserts and woods. Cows will make an appearance in Genshin Impact this time. And it is founded on Indian Civilization, which considers cows to be holy animals and makes it illegal to hurt them. We also believe the introduction of cows may prove Sumeru has deeper Indian ties than previously thought.

Sumeru’s Academia

Like that of every other nation before it, Sumeru’s storyline will be driven by the actions of its principal institution. The Sumeru Academia will play a significant role in this scenario, with most of the nation’s NPC being researchers from the college. Many famous persons in Sumeru came from the ranks of the Academia, particularly NPCs like Vahid and Alrani.

Other characters in the novel have had their experiences with the institution, including Lisa from the Knights of Favonius and the Fatui Harbinger Dottore; both eventually departed owing to the organization’s paranoia, with Lisa being the most illustrious professor in the last two centuries.

The Gilded Brigade

Even the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt, the Millelith in Liyue, and the Doushin in Inazuma have a police force to preserve the peace in Genshin Impact’s Teyvat. In Sumeru, these soldiers will be known as the Gilded Brigade, an organization that appears to function locally and internationally.

Sumida has only mentioned the Gilded Brigade, as a possible way of exploring Tsurumi Island for her novel thus far. The Gilded Brigade will most likely have similar talents to the Adventurers’ Guild, given the dangerous climate of the fog-covered island. However, the Brigade is likely to be more martial, given its name.

Known characters from Sumeru

Manga is a fantastic source of knowledge, from character ages to explanations of key historical events. Aside from these facts, the Sumeru manga Genshin Impact has proven to be one of the most reputable sources of Sumeru information. The comic introduces Cyno and Collei, two potentially important Sumeru characters.

Cyno is Lisa’s tutor, and she was summoned to Mondstadt to deal with Collei’s curse. Cyno is expected to be important to the story events in Sumeru, as he appears in the Sumeru part of the Travail trailers. Collei, on the other hand, was a Fatui test subject in Sumeru who was cursed to death and sent to Mondstadt. She opted to journey to Sumeru alongside Cyno, after eliminating the curse. Both characters are anticipated to feature in the Sumeru arc of Genshin Impact.
