Zhongli will be accompanied by the 4-star characters “Yearning for Unseen Depths” Freminet (cryo/claymore), “Mujina Ninja” Sayu (anemo/claymore), and “Chivalric Blossom” Noelle (geo/claymore) who will also receive a huge drop-rate boost.

This banner will feature the fourth rerun of the event-exclusive 5* character, “Childe” Tartaglia (hydro/bow) since his release in version 1.1. Tartaglia will be accompanied by the 4-star characters “Yearning for Unseen Depths” Freminet (cryo/claymore), “Mujina Ninja” Sayu (anemo/claymore), and “Chivalric Blossom” Noelle (geo/claymore) who will also receive a huge drop-rate boost.

Genshin Impact version 4.0 Phase 2 Weapon banner: Epitome Invocation

This banner features the 5* event-exclusive weapons, which are the likes of Vortex Vanquisher (Polearm) and Polar Star (bow). Among these, the Polar Star is the signature best-in-slot weapon for Tartaglia. Vortex Vanquisher is not the best-in-slot for any character in the game, although its aesthetics match that of Zhongli.

This banner also features the 4-star weapons, namely The Flute (sword), Sacrificial Greatsword (claymore), Dragon’s Bane (polearm), The Widsith (catalyst), and Rust (bow). All of these weapons are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

Should you go for either Zhongli or Childe in Genshin Impact

Zhongli and Tartaglia both were released together in Version 1.1 and now they are having a simultaneous rerun in version 4.0. A lot has changed since their first release. The value of shields has gone down in Genshin Impact, but Zhongli still reigns supreme as the best shield provider. Several characters benefit from the interruption resistance as well as the elemental RES shred provided by Zhongli’s shield. These characters include, but are not limited to: Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Xiao, Wanderer, Cyno, etc.

Tartaglia has always been a top-tier Hydro enabler. His best teams focus on him enabling a Pyro character (ideally Xiangling) to Vaporize as well as contributing a significant amount of personal DMG through his unique Riptide mechanic. He is a rather complicated character to master and faces competition from Hydro DPS with simpler kits like Kamisato Ayato. Tartaglia is still very valuable and useful as long as you learn how to play him.

Among the 4* characters Noelle and Sayu are both outclassed by other characters from their respective elements. Freminet is a new character whose potential is yet to be discovered. As for the 5* weapons, it needs to be mentioned that the Vortex Vanquisher is not a good weapon.

The PoStarstar is the best weapon for Tartaglia and several other bow users can also benefit from it. Among the 4* weapons, Dragon’s Bane, Rust, and The Widsith are pretty good. It seems the weapon banner is a balance between good and bad weapons, which makes it risky to pull on since there is a chance of getting an undesirable weapon.
