Genshin Impact Version 6.4 “Luna V” update, titled “Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind“, arrives on 25th February, 2026. The upcoming update introduces the most-awaited Varka as a playable character, the Mondstat Chronicle Banner, and the long-awaited Voice-chat feature.

Main Event (Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind)
Genshin Impact Version 6.4 main event will be held in the Mondstat region. By completing this event, we will get Phantasmal Gift: Star Omen, a 4* Skin for Catalysts.
Mini Event (Sightseeing With Friends)
It’s a picture-taking event. Visit different places and take pictures with your characters in Genshin Impact. We can earn 420 Primogems from this event.
Mini Event (Operation Stronghold Defense)
In this event, we have to defend our fortress from different types of enemies. We don’t have to use our characters to defend our fortresses from enemies. There will be different types of mechanisms for defeating enemies with elemental reactions and elemental attacks. We can earn 420 Primogems from this event.
Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Update: New playable character, reruns, and Chronicle Banner
Varka: 5-Star Anemo Claymore
One of the most-awaited characters, Varka, is finally here. He’s a 5-star Anemo main DPS claymore user from Mondstat. Varka is the main highlight of this update, who wields dual blades. He can deal Hydro, Pyro, Electro, and Cryo damage by infusing different elements in his Claymore.
He can jump in the air when we hold his skill, which is very helpful in exploration. His damage increases when we use an Anemo character in his team other than Varka. Get prepared for him ahead of time with our Varka Pre-Farm Guide.
Re-runs
Varka’s debut banner will be in the first phase, alongside a rerun of Flins, and then Skirk and Escoffier will rerun in the second half. Additionally, the Chronicled Wish returns, this time spotlighting 5-star characters from Mondstat!
New Boss: Radiant Moongecko
Radiant Moongecko is a new boss from the Nod Krai region. This boss drops Ascension materials for Varka.
Genshin Impact Version 6.4: System changes
Here are the upcoming system improvements and changes in Genshin Impact:
- TCG: WE will get the Nod Krai themed card table and card back. In addition, there are new players in the Nod Krai region. New character cards for Ineffa, Mika, and Golden Quackasaur.
- Envisaged Echos: New echos for Kamisato Ayaka and Kamisato Ayato.
- Voice Chat Feature: Finally, we will get the long-awaited voice chat feature in Genshin Impact. I’ve explained about the Voice chat feature in detail already, so give it a read.
Genshin Impact Version 6.4 Livestream Redeem Codes
- Homeward: 100 Primogems and x10 Mystic Enhancement Ore.
