Google Play Games for PC extends its beta test to Australia and Thailand

The feature will be bringing android games to PC

Google Play Games is the most famous gaming feature among android gamers. Previously, Google announced the beta test for its new feature, Google Play Games on PC. The beta version of the feature was available only for Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. However, starting today, two new countries will join the list. All the players from Australia and Thailand can also try out the open beta version and play their favorite android games on PC.

Google Play Games for PC introduces a brand new sync feature

The catalog of games on the beta version includes almost 50 compatible games for Windows users. With more and more games being included in the list, players can try out their favorite games on bigger screens. Google Play Games for PC will also feature a sync system.

Play Games will sync the in-game progress of the players on all devices. This means players can play a game on a PC and then pick it up from where they left off on their android devices.

In the last few months, we have more than doubled our Google Play Games catalog to 50+ titles, which can be played on Windows PCs via a standalone application built by Google. Our catalog includes many of the most popular mobile games in the world including Summoners War, Cookie Run: Kingdom, Last Fortress: Underground, and Top War. Together, these games are played by hundreds of millions of players globally,” the company said in a blog post.

Google has further reduced the minimum system requirements for the beta test

Google Play Games for PC have been beta testing since January this year. Previously, it limited many players from trying out the feature because of its high system requirements. With the new update, Google is also reducing the system requirements for Play Games on PC.

We’ve also made significant strides in reducing the minimum spec requirements to run Google Play Games. Players who have a Windows 10+ PC with an integrated graphics card and 4+ core CPU can now access Google Play Games.

From now on, players with integrated GPU can also try out Play Games on PC. They will need a computer running Windows 10 or higher featuring a 4-core CPU with integrated graphics and 10GB of SSD space.
