According to some recent developments in the industry, Google Play Games has now received an official launch for PC in 120+ regions including India. The platform will allow the players to experience mobile games on their PC without the hassle of third-party app emulators.
Google Play Games aims to deliver the same fun and excitement of mobile games on PC
Google Play Games is aimed to be made available to access and play the games that were once just exclusive to mobile phones. Some people have high-end PC but don’t have high-end mobile devices. Hence the platform would work nicely for them as they would be able to access an even wider selection of games on their PC.
Google Play Games beta was released in January 2022 and later saw a release in eight other countries including the US with a March 2023 announcement of release in Japan and Europe. Finally, the app is now also available for the players and fans to download in India along with other 120+ regions, which means that players would be able to directly download and play the games that were once mobile exclusives directly from the platform without the need of an emulator.
The platform would serve as a first-party solution to the third-party apps that the users have been using for a long time in a bid to run Android games on a PC. It means that now the games which fans used to play on the screens of their devices would be able to play via a keyboard and mouse. Other than this, one issue which was quite rampant with the emulators was the fact that some of the games used to lag on PC as they were not optimized to be run on a PC.
With this platform, Google has managed to make all the games compliant with the system specifications of the PC and run the game without any limitations.
