- Ragnarok Project 1.5 will build on the original Ragnarok Online universe.
- While details are limited, it is confirmed that the game will support cross-platform play.
- It focuses on blending two dimensions, and we can expect enhanced visuals.
Gravity has announced that its new project, based on Ragnarok Online, currently called Ragnarok Project 1.5, will be showcased at G-STAR 2025. The name is temporary, and the game brings a two-dimensional fusion concept. The event will offer more details, like the final name and core gameplay.
Experience a bold two-dimensional concept with cross-platform play
So, it seems like Gravity won’t be stopping creating Ragnarok titles anytime soon, as they’re now bringing a fresh addition to the beloved universe. Moreover, the team also confirmed that Project 1.5 will have a connection to the original Ragnarok Online world, which instantly caught fans’ attention.

Now, the idea of blending two dimensions sounds exciting, and I’m genuinely curious to see how the devs reimagine this universe that is loved by many. While information is scarce at the moment, we do know that the game will support cross-platform play on both mobile and PC, along with classic characters.
I hope the devs actually focus more on this one because the concept has potential. Like another fan mentioned on Reddit, I also would love to see parallel worlds, branching job options, and more, if they are truly planning on a two-dimensional concept. Along with Project 1.5, you can also look forward to Ragnarok Online 3 and Ragnarok Abyss at G-STAR 2025.
