GRAVITY NEOCYON, INC., a subsidiary of GRAVITY, has announced its latest turn-based collectible RPG, Academy of Heroes, now available for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. According to the App Store’s listing, we can expect the game to release on January 15, 2026, in select Asian regions.
Collect reimagined Three Kingdom heroes and enjoy a slice of school life
I know it sounds surprising, as I was surprised myself. Still, GRAVITY is finally bringing a different title that is not based on Ragnarok, as it reveals the Academy of Heroes. This one’s based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but gives a fun twist by introducing the legendary warriors in a modern school setting.
Well, you can look forward to unlocking around 80 heroes from the Three Kingdoms, each redesigned from the usual KOEI/SD style. And every hero comes with their own abilities, which now makes building your dream school team more enjoyable. You can then battle out in strategic turn-based combat for the Academy.
To me, it looks like the game won’t be boring, as there’s a variety of PvP modes to be busy with, from 6v6 battles and tournaments to cross-server guild wars. And if you like PvE, the game extends the worldview of the Three Kingdoms, but I’m eager to enjoy the school life it offers, from clubs to academic classes.
Academy of Heroes is now available for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. So, you can go ahead and pre-register the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. We can expect the game to release on January 15, 2026, in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Thailand.
